Platform-Specific:

  • Windows: FIN/NULL/Xmas scans not supported (OS limitation)
  • macOS: SYN scan requires elevated privileges (1 flaky test)
  • Linux: Optimal performance requires kernel 4.15+ for sendmmsg/recvmmsg
