Overview
Phase 8 pushes VeridianOS into next-generation territory with eight waves covering self-hosting developer tools, enterprise infrastructure, advanced desktop capabilities, full virtualization, cloud-native container orchestration, a web browser engine, and formal verification of kernel invariants. This phase produced 71 new files, approximately 19,000 lines of code, and 1,637 new tests.

Technical Highlights
- The browser engine uses arena allocation for DOM nodes, avoiding per-node heap allocation overhead and enabling bulk deallocation on tab close
- Formal verification with Kani provides bounded model checking of unsafe code blocks, proving absence of undefined behavior within the checked bounds
- TLA+ specifications were validated with TLC model checker using dedicated
.cfgfiles - The GDB stub enables source-level kernel debugging with breakpoints, watchpoints, and register inspection over QEMU's serial port
